Snow Princess | Las Vegas Portrait Photographer

I recently had the opportunity to plan out a very awesome creative session with the talented Lisa Holloway from LJ Holloway Photography. It all started with her offering up her daughter to be a model for me in any upcoming personal projects, and turned into a very well thought out, planned, and styled collaboration. We browsed through Etsy looking for the perfect outfit and Joy from Petite Peanut Boutique was kind enough to create a beautiful, custom hair piece for us to use. We watched the weather reports carefully, waiting for the first snow fall and then Lisa drove up to Las Vegas from Arizona with her daughter for our session.

It was unbelievably cold! Especially as the sun started to set, but Calista, Lisa’s daughter, was such a trooper! We left with frozen toes and fingers, but we also captured some amazing images! I had so much meeting up with Lisa and exchanging ideas on this together. I am looking forward to our next adventure (wink, wink) and maybe some warmer weather!

Sneak Peek: Calista | Las Vegas Child Photographer

I recently had the opportunity to collaborate with the very talented Lisa Holloway with LJ Holloway Photography on a Christmas inspired shoot. She was nice enough to not only lend me her daughter, but drove out to Las Vegas and up to the snow for us to shoot this amazing, creative session! Here is a just little sneak peek from our session. I have a ton of images to go through and edit and I am so excited to share some more very soon!

You know I love this! <3

Tiffney | Las Vegas Portrait Photographer

Oh Tiffney! What can I say about this gorgeous lady! She is the calendar girl for all things health and fitness! She just graduated from college earning her Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration and is about to start on her Master’s. She completed her first fitness competition just a few months back and is starting up a new business geared towards health, fitness, & nutrition which is why she asked me to do a Fitness Inspired Portrait Session to show off all of her awesome hard work! She is practically family, so of course I said yes! She wanted something chic and classy to help represent her brand “Fitness at Tiffney’s”. So, with some pearls, a fabulous hat, and an upscale location, we made it happen!

A Christmas Elf | Las Vegas Child Photographer

I can hardly believe it is December already! Time goes by incredibly fast when you are an adult, raising three children, running a business, managing a house, caring after animals, etc. etc. etc. I spent my first Monday of the month baking cookies for my neighbors and family, and finishing the final touches on my Christmas decorations.

I have a few sessions still scheduled this month, but I have pulled back quite a bit. I could easily fill my calendar with last minute portrait requests for the holidays, but I really had to stop and think long and hard this year about my priorities. My kids need me! I barely remember our Christmas last year, other than the fact that I was so stressed out, I made myself sick and actually spent Christmas Day by myself in bed while my family made their way over to my in-laws house for our Annual Christmas Dinner without me! That is NOT how I want this year to be remembered again.

I would like to make this year a little more special, by spending TIME with my family baking cookies, singing Christmas carols, watching my favorite holiday movies, drinking hot cocoa by the fire and turning my kids into elves! Happy Holidays!!!
