I have, not only been photographing this beautiful family, but I have also been friends with this family for quite a few years now. I remember doing mom’s Maternity Portraits back when she was pregnant with her second little girl. So, it truly is a pleasure to have them in front of my camera again. We actually had planned on doing their portraits in April, but the flowers were blooming in the desert and I jumped at the chance to get out and take advantage of them because they go quick around here. We pretty much had the most perfect spring day ever for a family portrait session. If you follow my work, you know what a sucker I am for very scenic portraits and we were blessed to have some beautiful natural light that allowed us to capture the amazing desert backdrop on this day. The Kelley Family is so near and dear to my heart and their little girls are just as precious as can be.
I think poor little Hopey had enough of me after about 20 minutes, but she still remained a trooper through their session. She even got to sport a beautiful tutu a new friend made for me. Such a wonderful gift. Here are a few favorites from their session. Enjoy!
