I have known Shana and Adam for most of my photography career. I have watched Shana’s career blossom into something amazing recently starring on the show Storage Wars. She’s been in body building competitions and worked as a spokes model for another prominent photographer here in Las Vegas. However, her first love has always been thrifting!
She is a professional thrifter with her bestie and runs her own vlog and manages multiple social media accounts. So, it comes as no surprise that her maternity session be full of epic Boho Styled Maternity Portraits!
The stories behind her dresses are always amazing to hear! The second one being the most impressive. She actually made it herself out of her moms and grandmothers doilies and tablecloths. In fact, it was so impressive, she inspired me to make my own. As a Las Vegas Maternity Photographer, it is my dream to have a gown like this in my client closet. I just figured if Shana can make one, so can I! Plus the boho style is super popular right now.
Shana and Adam are not new to my camera, but this was the first time we visited the Desert National Wildlife Refuge together. This is one of my favorite locations. Its very private and quiet. They only accept a limited number of photography permits a year and so we are guaranteed to have a serene gorgeous experience here. Plus the grounds are amazing!
We usually always include their fur babies in all their sessions, but sadly they recently had to say goodbye to one. I feel their pain, as my own family recently said goodbye to our own sweet Marley just before New Years. So this was a bittersweet session as we were missing one and getting ready to welcome another into their family (who I can’t wait to meet this weekend).
It’s always hard not to over photograph their sessions, so this is a huge share, but I just couldn’t narrow it down. I have so many favorites from these two! I hope you enjoy!
