As a Family Photographer, I truly feel like I get to meet and become friends the most amazing families! The “B” Family came to me through a referral of one of my already existing awesome family clients. I connected with mom right away and we texted back and forth planning out all the details of their session.
I was so excited when the chose one of my all time favorite locations. Okay… maybe I have a lot of favorite locations (insert giggle). This one is a great summer choice since it is slightly higher in elevation and is generally about 10-15 degrees cooler than the city. When you are booking a session in the middle of summer in Vegas, that can make all the difference in the world.
I was so excited for this session. Mom had already put together some really amazing wardrobe pieces before she even contacted me. I made a few suggestions to change up a few pieces, but I think it all came together so beautifully! I love this color palette with this location.
Fast forward to the day of their session. The weather forecast was predicting no winds, but when I got to the gas station to wait for them, the wind was blowing everywhere and there was a huge grey cloud covering the sun. I definitely has a slight freakout moment considering our location was wide open desert.
However, when we arrived on location, the Lord delivered the most beautiful weather and sunset ever! No winds, a cool 82 degrees falling to 74 by the time we left. It was so perfect and so was this family. We captured all the sweetest connections and joy. I could not have felt more pleased with how it all went. Here are some of my favorites from their day!
