Here we are in November…already! It is crazy how fast time flies. Halloween was awesome! Probably our best one yet. You guys, both, won best costume in the community party. As you should have, because that was A LOT of work! Mommy is making an effort to put more time into making our holidays and time together special this year. After being sick for what seemed like forever, I was finally able to take you both out and do a little fall mini session. Of course, this always proves to be a much more difficult task than I can ever anticipate. I didn’t even get off one click of the shutter off before you were throwing dirt on each other (note the bottom of A’s jeans). With a little candy bribing and a few fart jokes, I managed to get a few smiles out of you…
…at least until the battle of the silly faces began. I know you guys would much rather throw rocks and find spiders (which we did) than pose for my camera. However, the grandparents and I really appreciate the rare moments when you actually show love towards to each other.
I mean, you can be really cute when you want to. Baby C, your smile is infectious. You are the most loving kid. There are not enough hugs and kisses in this world that would be enough for you and I love that about you! You are like a gentle giant and I say that with love, because you are almost as tall as your brother. In fact, you are taller than several of his kindergarten friends. I get asked all the time if you are twins.
Antonio, you are so insanely smart and witty, not to mention crazy good looking. I definitely have my hands full with you, but I have no doubt you will be super successful one day. You remind me so much of your father, even though everyone says you are my mini me. I guess, I see that too. Not just in looks, but in personality. You got the best of both worlds kiddo.
I am so insanely proud of both of you. I can’t tell you how many compliments I get on how you are amazing young boys and you are so well mannered. I have very high hopes for the both of you and daddy and I are working so hard to provide the best opportunities and chance for the future. You may not understand or comprehend our sacrifices right now, but I promise you we love you so very much and everything we do is for you.
We love you as much as the universe, infinity and beyond and all the numbers!
This is the third in a twelve-part series of letters written to our sons. I am working with a group of amazing photographers on this very special project as we document our journey’s as mothers of boys. Next in the circle is the ever so talented Courtney Karban . Please read her letter HERE.
