I am so glad you have found me. I have been a Las Vegas Portrait Photographer for over 12 years and specialize in family, maternity and lifestyle newborn portrait photography.

I am an outdoor enthusiast and I am hugely inspired by vast beautiful landscapes as well as intimate, engaging moments that you can feel. I love to incorporate both of these things into a session to create beautiful works of art that are unique to your family. My hope is that you walk away with incredible memories that can hang on your walls for years!

As if preparing for a move isn’t enough, we have decided to sign up the older two boys for every tournament and baseball league possible this summer before we move. So if you need me, you can find me on hot ball field sweating profusely as I watch my kids get in some work.

Give me all the orchards and sunflowers and grassy fields! I am on a little bit of a break from “moving” tasks this week so I might take a drive and see if I can find me some wildflowers.

I could use some fresh air and maybe some mountain time before it’s gone.

In honor of all of the green spaces and gorgeous fall tones that will soon take up my feed, I thought I would share some images that reflect that.

I am really looking forward to a change in scenery. Don’t get me wrong, the desert is full of its own beauty, but after living in it for 22 years, I am ready for something different.

Can’t wait to meet all the families! If you are currently in the Tyler, Texas area, I should be ready to take clients starting in fall 2025. Look forward to meeting you!

So I am pretty sure I have never introduced myself on Instagram with images. I am kind of weird about sharing images of myself but since I finally got some updated headshots and I am moving to a new area, maybe now is a good time to share a bit.

Heeeyyyy….

I’m Jamie. Mother to 4. Ages, 28, 17, 15, and 8. Currently experiencing all stages of life. LOL! I was born and raised in San Diego, California but moved to Las Vegas when I got married and planted our roots here for 22 years. Now, we are moving on to new adventures in Tyler, Texas and I am really looking forward to this new chapter and all that it will bring.

I am celebrating 14 years in business as a family photographer this month! Kind of wild. I’ve done it all from teaching classes, hosting workshops, and even being a second shooter at a few weddings. But what really brings me joy in all of it, is maintaining a more quiet, very low key presence in the photography community. I love my business, but I also love my family and don’t want to miss out on the memories that we make.

I quit teaching photography classes so I could homeschool my kids and be more present and I couldn’t be happier. Now we are headed to Texas in hopes to really embrace the simpler life with a little bit of land, a garden and maybe some chickens in our future. Stay tuned!

Had a gorgeous session up on the mountain last night. Thank goodness because we are hitting 100’s this week now consistently, but it was beautiful perfect weather on the mountain.

Little man really just wanted to play in the dirt. So of course we captured a lot of that with his dirty face and all! He made us all work but that cute little face was worth it.

As a reminder, I have a big announcement coming end of day so stay tuned!

Let’s play a game of how many images can I fit into one IG post?

Seriously though, this session was such a dream! The location, the wardrobe choices, the stormy and rainy skies, and magic light! All of it worked in our favor. Thank God because we did have lightening striking literally directly above our heads at one point.

This beautiful couple came from out of town and wanted an epic desert session while they were here for their maternity images. So that is exactly what I gave them and the timing of getting to shoot this session here what so perfect for me!

Thank you to the team at @desertgracebeauty_lv for the amazing hair and makeup that really held up through the 40mph gusty winds.
